Award Nominations for the New Orleans Chapter of the Federal Bar Association Annual Awards are Now Open

The awards will be presented at the Annual Meeting on August 17, 2026.  Nominations will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on Monday, June 1, 2026.  Follow the link for submission instructions.

The Dawn Barrios Leadership Program is a new program offered by the New Orleans Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. It provides newer attorneys an opportunity to develop their organizational and leadership skills while building relationships with other area attorneys and learning about the Federal Bar Association and our New Orleans Chapter.

Court Family Holiday Toy Drive for The Inner City and Homeless Children in the New Orleans Toy Drive

Eric Foley serves as Senior Counsel in the New Orleans office at the MacArthur Justice Center where his practice focuses on evictions, disputes with public housing authority, denials of Social Security benefits, and advocacy for the homeless.  Before joining the MacArthur Justice Center in January 2015, he was a staff attorney at Southeast Louisiana Legal Services in New Orleans where he represented low-income clients in administrative hearings, trial court, and appellate court.
